We took it for its first test drive.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Total breakdown of what was done:

-Chopped the roof 6"

-Slammed the front 4"

-Lowered the rear 1-1/4"

-Widened the stance

-Made a custom floorboard

-Added a seatbelt

-Added a tow rope

RugRatRod! Very, very nicely done. I miss when the coupe used to have those cylindrical A-pillars, all of them for the last decade or so have been curved and much thicker, making chopping nearly impossible.

The giant eyeballs on the new ones is what bothers me the most. I’m going to have to start crawling craigslist soon for one of the older ones. Refreshing one of those would make for a nice little project.

yeah the newer ones would definitely be a challenge for sure. I had been looking for one of these old ones for a while. I was pretty stoked when I found this one. Especially since it was blue (I never liked red).
